Hi, my name is Jane Keeling and I'm the subject librarian at the University of Derby for the College of Education and for the following Humanities subjects - American Studies, English & History.. This means I'm the main contact in the Library for help and support for students studying on these programmes.

If you'd like to make an appointment to see me, here's what you need to know:

• Appointments are normally for 30 minutes
• Please try to be on time - if you are more than ten minutes late I may not be able to see you due to follow-up appointments.
• If you cannot make the appointment, please cancel it via the link in your confirmation email as soon as possible.
• Please let me know what kind of issues you would like help with, i.e. referencing, research, electronic resources etc, in as much detail as you can.
• In-person appointments will be in my office, L103 - this is on the first floor of the library, to the right of the School Practice area . Just knock on the door and come in. If I am not there, one of my colleagues will ask you to wait.
• If you have arranged a telephone appointment, I will call you at the appointed time.Please note I cannot call outside of the UK - if you are based internationally, please let me know and I can send you an online meeting appointment.

• Please be aware of my working hours - I work 9.00-4.00 on 4 days but on a Wednesday I work either 9.00-1.00 or 3.30-7.30. Friday is a non-working day
