Online Academic Librarian Drop-in session for Health & Social Care

Online Academic Librarian Drop-in session for Health & Social Care Online

**Please note that due to the ongoing situation related to coronavirus, all sessions are subject to change at short notice. Please register for the session to ensure you receive updates via email.**

Need research to support your assignments? Not sure which database(s) to use? Or how to search it?

There are some videos covering different Library resources that you can access via the Library Resources Help guide linked to this session - have a look and see if they answer your question. Also use our online chat system which is accessible via the green speech bubble on any of our Library guides. There's also a growing FAQ resource that you can search and you can find this on the Library Resources help tab.

If they don't answer your question then do come along to the online drop-in session (delivered through Blackboard Collaborate) and ask your Academic Librarian to help you get the best out of the key library resources for your course.

You can turn up at any point within the hour-long timeframe - but we're asking you to register during the Covid-19 outbreak so that if we need to change or cancel the drop-in we'll be able to contact you to let you know. If you are attending, please make sure you allow enough time to ask your question(s) and have them answered, especially if you're planning on dropping in towards the end of the session!

You attend the drop-in online via Blackboard Collaborate. You don't need to download anything, it all takes place in your browser, but if you have connection problems then the first thing to do would be to try an alternate browser although Chrome / Firefox are the most stable. The link to the online room is here: https://ca.bbcollab.com/guest/cb4e16d4c4a345b0b0733fd91ae8c24d and you will need to set up your device's audio / video before you get started so make sure you have a microphone & speakers / headphones to interact. (Although if you wish you can use the built-in chat feature instead)

Please be aware that we are unable to offer support in proofreading your work.
