Workshop on PsycInfo for Health & Social Care [online workshop] Online
**Please note that due to the ongoing situation related to coronavirus, all sessions are subject to change at short notice. Please register for the session to ensure you receive updates via email.**
This session will look at the database PsycInfo, which is part of the EBSCO 'family' of databases. It will cover creating a personal account, creating folders, running an advanced (but not expert) search, saving your search strategy & individual article records, as well as taking a look at some of the options for limiting your results via PsycInfo specific fields.
You attend the workshop online via Blackboard Collaborate. You don't need to download anything, it all takes place in your browser, but if you have connection problems then the first thing to do would be to try an alternate browser although Chrome / Firefox are the most stable. The link to the online room is here: https://ca.bbcollab.com/guest/cb4e16d4c4a345b0b0733fd91ae8c24d and you will need to set up your device's audio / video before you get started so make sure you have a microphone & speakers / headphones to interact. (Although if you wish you can use the built-in chat feature instead and your questions will be answered towards the end of the session.)
