Nursing & Professional Practice students – Academic Librarian clinic [online]

Nursing & Professional Practice students – Academic Librarian clinic [online] Online

**Please note that due to the ongoing situation related to coronavirus, all sessions are subject to change at short notice.**

Need research to support your assignments? Not sure which database(s) to use? Or how to search it? Got a question about referencing?

If you're not sure how to get the best from the Library and its resources, come along to this online clinic (delivered through Blackboard Collaborate) and get the opportunity to ask your Academic Librarian, Jill Boland, directly.

Please come with a clear idea of what you want help with - this is a Q&A clinic aimed at helping with specific issues or questions, not a workshop. If your question or support need is lengthy or complicated, we may recommend you book an individual appointment as a follow-up.

If you are on an Allied Health programme: Occupational Therapy / Hand Therapy / Diagnostic Radiography / Medical Ultrasound there will be a separate clinic for these programmes offered by the Academic Librarian directly supporting them; please see the Library Events pages for details.

You attend the clinic online via Blackboard Collaborate. You don't need to download anything, it all takes place in your browser, but if you have connection problems then the first thing to do would be to try an alternate browser although Chrome / Firefox are the most stable.

You will need to set up your device's audio / video before you get started so make sure you have a microphone & speakers / headphones to interact. (Although if you wish you can use the built-in chat feature instead)

Please be aware that we are unable to offer support in proofreading your work.
