Allied health (Occupational Therapy / Social Work / Youth Work / Radiography ) – Academic Librarian dropin clinic

Allied health (Occupational Therapy / Social Work / Youth Work / Radiography ) – Academic Librarian dropin clinic Online

**Please note that due to the ongoing situation related to coronavirus, all sessions could be subject to change at short notice.**

Do you need help with: finding information for your assignments or dissertation; do you want to know what databases are and how to access and search them; would you like to know about advanced database features; would you like help with referencing and using Cite them Right?

If you're feeling unsure about how to get the most from the Library and the resources we have, come along to this informal online clinic (delivered through Blackboard Collaborate) and ask your Academic Librarian, Naila Dracup, directly.

Please try to come with a clear idea of what you want help with as this is run as a Q&A clinic in a group setting aimed at helping with specific issues or questions. If your question or the level of support you need is very lengthy or complex, we may recommend you book an individual appointment as a follow-up.

If you are on a Nursing and Professional Practice or a Psychology, and Counselling & Psychotherapy course there will be a separate clinic for these programmes offered by the Academic Librarian directly supporting them; please see the Library Events pages for details.

You attend the clinic online via Blackboard Collaborate. You don't need to download anything, it all takes place in your browser, but if you have connection problems then the first thing to do would be to try an alternate browser although Chrome / Firefox are the most stable.

You will need to set up your device's audio / video before you get started so make sure you have a microphone & speakers / headphones to interact. (Although if you wish you can use the built-in chat feature instead)

Please be aware that we are unable to offer support in proofreading your work.
