Psychology, Forensic Psychology, Counselling & Psychotherapy students – Academic Librarian clinic [Online] Online
**Please note: Sessions are subject to change if unforeseen circumstances arise. Please register for the session to ensure you receive updates via email. And please check that you've put your email address in correctly!**
Before you register for the Clinic, please review the help information available on the Library Resources Help guide as this may answer some, or all, of your questions. If you want help with academic writing and related skills, please see the guides produced by our Skills team for helpful information. You can also book onto one of the skills workshops for live demonstrations and Q&A opportunities.
If, after having reviewed the various help resources, you're still unsure how to get the best from the Library and its resources, you can register for one of the online clinics (delivered through Blackboard Collaborate) and get the opportunity to ask your Academic Librarian, Jill Boland, directly.
Please come with a clear idea of what you want help with - this is a Q&A clinic aimed at helping with specific issues or questions, not a workshop.
If you are on the attendance list you will recieve a link to the online room in your confirmation email (so please make sure you've put your email address in correctly.) If you're on the waiting list you will recieve a confirmation email but there won't be any link to the online room - if you then move from the waiting list to the attendance list you will get a new email containing the online room link.
If you cannot attend please cancel so that people on the waiting list can move up.
If you are on an Allied Health programme: Occupational Therapy / Hand Therapy / Diagnostic Radiography / Medical Ultrasound there will be a separate clinic for these programmes offered by the Academic Librarian directly supporting them; please see the Library Events pages for details.
- Friday, April 9, 2021
- 10:30am - 11:30am
- Time Zone:
- UK, Ireland, Lisbon Time (change)
- This is an online event. Event URL will be sent via registration email.
You attend the clinic online via Blackboard Collaborate. You don't need to download anything, it all takes place in your browser, but if you have connection problems then the first thing to do would be to try an alternate browser although Chrome / Firefox are the most stable.
You will need to set up your device's audio / video before you get started so make sure you have a microphone & speakers / headphones to interact. (Although if you wish you can use the built-in chat feature instead)
Please be aware that we are unable to offer support in proofreading your work.
