Online visibility as a researcher

Online visibility as a researcher Online

This session will look at the various ways in which you can become more visible as a researcher in the online environment. It will look at making the most of online tools to enhance your profile such as UDORA, preprint servers, persistent identifiers (PIDs), and academic social networking sites. The workshop will also look at interpreting and utilising metrics responsibly with the aid of tools such as SciVal and Scopus. This session should appeal to research active members of staff and students who may be new to scholarly communications, and for those more established researchers.

Please be advised that this session will not cover any subject specific guidance for undergraduate or masters level study. Please consult the Enhance Your Learning calendar of events which are ran by our fantastic Academic Librarians for further information: https://libcal.derby.ac.uk/calendar/events?cid=4256&t=d&d=0000-00-00&cal=4256&inc=0
