**Please note: Sessions are subject to change if unforeseen circumstances arise. Please register for the session to ensure you receive updates via email.**

This 45-minute workshop + Q&A will introduce you to some of the advanced features of Embase, a biomedical database that the library subscribes to. Useful for nursing & professional practice; pharmacology; biomedical sciences; engineering (around medical devices); and clnical medicine.)

It will be assumed that you have attended the introductory workshop for Embase, or used it yourself prior to attending this session as the basics will not be covered in this session.

You attend the session online via Blackboard Collaborate. You don't need to download anything as it all takes place in your browser, but if you have connection problems then the first thing to do would be to try an alternate browser although Chrome / Firefox are the most stable.

You will need to set up your device's audio / video before you get started so make sure you have a microphone & speakers / headphones to interact. (Although if you wish you can use the built-in chat feature instead and your questions will be answered towards the end of the session.)

The session will be recorded, and the link sent out to everyone who has registered.

Please ensure that you put your university email address in correctly - it should end @unimail.derby.ac.uk
