Using EndNote Reference Management Software - Introductory Level Online

This workshop is an introduction to the reference management tool EndNote, so no prior knowledge of this resource is assumed. The session will be 30 minutes long with an additional 15 minutes for questions. There will be a mix of illustrative PowerPoint and live demonstration.

In this session we will cover:

  • Finding EndNote
  • Setting up your EndNote Library
  • Preferences
  • Adding material:

 - Files

 - Folders

  • Selecting output style (i.e., what referencing style you want to use)
  • Cite While You Write in Word

There will be a second, intermediate session, later which will cover additional functions.

You must register for this session; it will be recorded and all registrants will receive a link to the recording to go back over in their own time.
