You created it, now own it! How to retain your rights

You created it, now own it! How to retain your rights Online

This information session will cover what rights retention is, your rights as an author or creator and how to ensure that you maintain control over your creative output as opposed to the publisher! It will also look at how to utilise rights retention and creative commons licensing. We will consider publisher agreements and services and briefly look over compliance with funder requirements. This session will predominantly centre on traditional output types such as journal articles, conference proceeding papers etc.

This session should appeal to research active members of staff and research active students that are actively producing publications. Co-delivered by Holly Limbert, Repository and Open Access Librarian and Donya Rowan, Senior Copyright Officer.
