An introduction to OSCOLA referencing Online
OSCOLA referencing is the referencing standard required for Law programmes (OSCOLA stands for Oxford University Standard for Citation of Legal Authorities). This session will introduce you to the basics of OSCOLA referencing, including footnotes, bibliography and tables of cases and legislation.
Please note: some non-Law programmes with law modules may require OSCOLA referencing to be used for these. Please check whether you are required to use OSCOLA referencing for your studies - otherwise you may want to consider our workshop, Introduction to referencing and Cite Them Right, which focuses on Harvard referencing, which is the main university referencing system used by most programmes.
