Database Focus :: Pick 'n' Mix Online
**Please note: Sessions are subject to change if unforeseen circumstances arise. Please register for the session to ensure you receive updates via email.**
This 30-minute workshop +Q&A will introduce you to a small selection of databases which may be useful to students within the disciplines of health, social care, and psychology. It will be introductory, so no prior experience of using these resources is required.
For this workshop we will be looking at CareKnowledge, Epistemonikos, and the Trip database.
You attend the session online via Blackboard Collaborate. You don't need to download anything as it all takes place in your browser, but if you have connection problems then the first thing to do would be to try an alternate browser although Chrome / Firefox are the most stable.
You will need to set up your device's audio / video before you get started so make sure you have a microphone & speakers / headphones to interact. (Although if you wish you can use the built-in chat feature instead and your questions will be answered towards the end of the session.)
The session will be recorded and the link sent out to everyone who has registered.
Please ensure that you put your university email address in correctly - it should end @unimail.derby.ac.uk
