You Created It! Now Own it. How to Retain the Rights to your work. Online
This information session will cover what rights retention is, your rights as an author or creator and how to ensure that you maintain control over your creative output as opposed to the publisher! It will also look at how to utilise rights retention and creative commons licensing, covering publisher agreements and services and offer guidance on how to comply with funder requirements around rights retention. This session will predominantly centre on traditional output types such as journal articles, and conference proceeding papers etc and should appeal to research active members of staff and research active students that are actively producing publications.
Co delivered by Holly Limbert, Repository and Open Access Librarian and Donya Rowan, Senior Copyright Officer.
