Learning Lunch: Academic Writing, FINAL YEAR In-Person

This is an IN-PERSON event taking place at CHESTERFIELD - ST. HELENA, ST119.

This session is intended for students writing longer dissertation projects. It is suitable across disciplines and explores writing at postgraduate level.  

The session is designed to help you understand the step from undergraduate to post-graduate marking criteria, and what is expected of you at this level. 

This workshop will help you develop your academic voice and offer advice on how to impart it in your writing. We will demonstrate strategies for critically engaging with literature and how to articulate original arguments in your research. We will also explore the importance of tone, structure and clarity for your academic writing.
