UDORA: the University of Derby's Institutional Repository

UDORA: the University of Derby's Institutional Repository Online

This online session will introduce the University of Derby Online Research Archive (UDORA), the University’s Green route to Open Access, and provide an overview of the public-facing repository, including how to search, browse, and access records. You will learn what UDORA contains—such as output types, peer-reviewed criteria, and citation/full-text records—and the benefits of depositing your work, including increased visibility and Open Access policy compliance.

The session will cover requirements for depositing outputs, including submitting at acceptance, uploading the Author Accepted Manuscript (AAM), and applying Rights Retention Statements. A demonstration of submitting outputs via the Worktribe Outputs module will also be included, along with useful resources and time for questions.

Facilitated by Martin Wakenshaw, Publication Practice Coordinator in the Library.

Martin also offers a shorter session focused specifically on submitting research outputs.

This session supports development in the Vitae RDF: Research Management 3.4 – Open Research.
