You’ll learn how to safeguard your rights and maintain control over your work, rather than transferring them entirely to publishers. The session will also explore practical ways to apply rights retention and Creative Commons licensing, including guidance on navigating publisher agreements, using support services, and meeting funder requirements. While the focus will be on traditional research outputs such as journal articles and conference proceedings, the session will be highly relevant for research-active staff and students who are producing practice research outputs.
