Own Your Research: ORCiD, Rescognito & CRediT in Action In-Person
This 45-minute interactive lab will introduce participants to ORCiD—the unique, persistent digital identifier that distinguishes you from other researchers and ensures your work is correctly attributed. The session will explain why ORCiD is essential for research visibility, integrity, and compliance, and outline the University’s position and support for its use.
Participants will have the opportunity to register for a new ORCiD or update an existing one, and will learn how to connect their ORCiD to Rescognito, enabling recognition through the CRediT (Contributor Roles Taxonomy) system. The session will conclude with a Q&A segment, giving attendees a chance to ask questions and receive one-to-one guidance on making the most of their ORCiD profile.
As this is an interactive session, please bring a laptop or device such as a tablet.
This is an on-campus session to be held at Kedleston Road in Room NG10
