Getting Started/Finding Information

Getting Started/Finding Information Online

This session introduces you to key sources of information (such as books, journal articles, newspapers and websites) and how they are used in higher education.

You’ll see a demonstration of two key library systems: Resource Lists for core reading and Library Search for further reading. You’ll learn about essential search strategies to help you find the information you need.

The session will build your confidence in navigating library systems to start your research journey.
