Literature Searching in Practice: Web of Science In-Person
This is an IN-PERSON event taking place at ST HELENA, CHESTERFIELD - ST120.
Our Literature Searching in Practice workshops are designed to help you make sense of academic databases and refine your searching skills so you can take your research to the next level.
This interactive session will provide practical searching advice and demonstrate effective use of the Web of Science database - a multi-disciplinary database that covers health, humanities and social sciences. Our Skills Librarians will introduce you to the database, propose a research question, and demonstrate effective use of key terms, operators and filters to locate useful, accurate information.
This session will be useful to all students, particularly those who are undertaking science or social science degrees.
